Cold porcelain is a paste compounded mainly of vynilic glue (PVA adhesive) and corn starch. One of the greatest advantages of this paste is the fact that it doesn’t need to go in the oven, it is air drying, and it can be painted and varnished at the end. It is also a very resistant, enduring and non eatable cold paste. When they are well performed, the articles made with this paste are tremendously beautiful and most of the times identical to traditional porcelain pieces of work. With this paste it is possible to mould a great number of motives and make many applications – it only takes imagination and creativity. |
